The Ethics Foundation represented UK NGOs (Non Governmental Organisations) at the ISO 26000 Social Responsibility working group in Vienna on 5 November 2007. The ISO is being drafted by stakeholder teams from 56 countries to set a global standard for businesses and organisations implementing and reporting on Social Responsibility. The public consultation is expected to be in autumn 2008. David Jackman led a small group drafting the connection with wider ethics and sustainable development.
