 Ethics Regions Ethics Regions are areas with a distinctive culture which support ethical development. The aim is to encourage and stimulate engagement on ethical issues throughout the region and at all levels via businesses, organisations and individuals. This will lead to the region being recognised as an attractive and ethical region in which to live and do business with consequent benefits for the region. Ethics Regions are required to demonstrate their commitment to ethical engagement by having a significant number of values-led organisations and businesses. At the heart of each region is an Ethics Network. The first Ethics Region is in the process of being formed in the Lake District and surrounding area, and the intention is to develop other areas over time.
